Based on the story of the healing of the lame man in Acts 3 this message highlights that as people we cannot give what we don't have, only what we do. In the story Peter said to the man "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you..." God does not expect us to give what we do not have, but what we do have. In Jesus we've all given us all unique personalities & gifting, he simply expects us to give what he has given us to give. For this reason every Christian can believe they have something to give in Jesus name.

The experience of baptism or filling with the Holy Spirit is about the Christian's need for power & confidence in the Christian life. In the book of Acts the filling with the Spirit is not a reward for being holy! It is a free gift given to empower weak & ordinary people to live lives they otherwise would not have lived. In this message Pastor John shares about his first experience of being baptised with the Holy Spirit & how it changed him. Then he goes on to deal with two questions that are often asked. 1. Is baptism with the Holy Spirit a once off experience? 2. Is speaking in tongues the essential initial physical evidence of baptism with the Holy Spirit?

As always in the Body of Christ we ought to listen to & learn from one another with humility. We are part of a kingdom that transcends & outlasts denominations, streams & movements. For this reason we need to recognise the value & need of every part of the universal Church. We are not competitors but partners in the gospel. With that said this message begins to look at what Pentecostal's teach about the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. Pointing out how we are Pentecostal primarily because of what we believe about the Baptism with the Holy Spirit. With the Challenge being: If we don't be ourselves nobody else will be.
