Ignite is an African style service which runs every Monday night between 6.30 & 8pm in Globe House (a refugee home in Sligo). The service is characterised by enthusiastic praise and passionate prayer and preaching. Ignite reaches out to the African community in Sligo, some of whom currently live in Globe House, but all people are very welcome at the service. Most of those who attend the Monday service end up coming along on Sunday mornings and become part of the wider church. This enables them to begin building relationships with local people which helps the process towards adapting to life in Ireland.
